Meet the Teachers
Deb Swanson, Owner, Yoga Instructor
I have been practicing yoga since 2000. In 2006 I received my Yoga Alliance certification through Sun Moon Studio. Yoga was instrumental in relieving migraines due to a herniated disk in my neck. I also had back issues which yoga helped. There was a significant change in my reaction to stress and the way I looked at life in general. Due to the huge impact yoga had on my life, I wanted to share this knowledge and help others. I opened my studio in September 2006. Through the studio, I hope that many people will come to love and benefit from yoga as much as I do.

Mary Zelmer, Qigong SFQ Master Healer II and Certified Teacher of SFQ and Qi-ssage
Following intensive study with Master Chunyi Lin, creator of Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ), Mary was personally appointed by Master Chunyi Lin to work as a healer in his Healing Center, and subsequently became one of ten Level 2 Master Healers (out of one hundred thousand SFQ students). She is a certified instructor in three Spring Forest Qigong disciplines, including Level one for health, Level two for healing and Qi-ssage. She enjoys working with individuals and groups, out of this joy she developed and implemented the SFQ International Guild ReachOut Program training seventy volunteers which helped over one thousand recipients in its first two years of operation.
After using Qigong to heal myself, I am committed in assisting others on their path to wellness by connecting and integrating through unconditional love, the mind, the body and the spirit. I enjoy being a team player and find it gratifying to use my leadership skills for the common good. I am creative and give my thought and focus to methods of learning and how they can be improved and refined. I have great tenacity and use my intuitive and listening skills to help people meet their goals. I love to work in groups where my skills often give definition to group endeavors.
